Inpatient treatment and surgery with supplementary or private insurance
If inpatient treatment, surgery or inpatient pain therapy (e.g. for back pain or bone marrow edema) is required, Consultant Dr. Markus Riedl primarily carries this out at Sanatorium Hera. On request, treatment is also possible at the Rudolfinerhaus Private Clinic or at Döbling Private Clinic.
Patients with supplementary or private insurance (including UNIQA, Generali, Allianz, Wiener Städtische, Merkur, Donau Versicherung and KFA) can receive inpatient treatment at a private clinic. All costs — including accommodation, surgery, anesthesia, implants, injections and physiotherapy — are covered in full by the respective insurance company. There are no additional costs.
Patients with other statutory insurances (e.g. ÖGK, BVAEB, SVS etc.) also have the option of inpatient treatment for an additional flat-rate fee. A cost estimate will be provided in advance.
Private clinics in Vienna
On request, anyone with supplementary/private insurance or self-payers can also be treated at any other private clinic in Vienna.
