Biceps tendon injury

A biceps tendon avulsion at the elbow refers to the partial or complete separation of the biceps tendon from its attachment point on the radius. This injury can lead to pain, swelling and functional impairment. Depending on the extent of the tear and the impairment, conservative treatment methods may be sufficient; in some cases, surgical reattachment of the torn tendon may be necessary. I will be happy to provide detailed information about the appropriate surgical method in a detailed consultation in my medical practice.
