ORTHORIEDL
PAIN-FREE TOGETHER
Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) is a painful inflammation of the tendon insertions on the outer elbow. It often occurs when the forearm muscles are overused and is not exclusively restricted to tennis players, although the name suggests this. Depending on the severity, treatment can include rest, physiotherapy exercises, shock wave therapy, autologous conditioned plasma therapy (ACP/PRP) and, in extremely stubborn cases, surgery. For detailed information about the appropriate surgical method, I will be happy to take the time for a detailed consultation in my medical practice.
I would be happy to discuss the diagnosis and treatment options with you in a personal consultation.
