ORTHORIEDL
PAIN-FREE TOGETHER
In osteoarthritis of the knee joint (knee osteoarthritis), the cartilage in the knee joint gradually breaks down. This process leads to pain, stiffness and a limited range of motion in the knee. Knee osteoarthritis is often age-related, but can also be promoted by injuries, obesity or genetic factors.
Treatment includes conservative measures such as painkillers, Corticosteroid injections, physiotherapy and weight reduction. Optimal supplements to prevent surgery for as long as possible may include treatments with hyaluronic acid or autologous conditioned plasma therapy (ACP/PRP). In advanced cases, surgical procedures such as artificial knee replacement (knee arthroplasty) may be considered to relieve pain and restore the range of motion. I will be happy to provide detailed information about the appropriate surgical method in a detailed consultation in my medical practice.
I would be happy to discuss the diagnosis and treatment options with you in a personal consultation.
