ORTHORIEDL
PAIN-FREE TOGETHER
Shoulder osteoarthritis is a painful disease of the shoulder joint that is often caused by the progressive wear of the articular cartilage. In addition to hereditary factors, painful shoulder osteoarthritis can also be caused by previous fractures, other injuries or surgery in the shoulder area. Osteoarthritis can severely restrict the range of motion of the shoulder and lead to considerable discomfort.
Treatment options depend on the severity of the osteoarthritis and range from physiotherapy exercises, Hyaluronic acid, autologous conditioned plasma therapy (ACP/PRP), anti-inflammatory corticosteroid injections to shoulder arthroscopy or shoulder arthroplasty.
I would be happy to discuss the diagnosis and treatment options with you in a personal consultation.
