Acromioclavicular joint injuries

The acromioclavicular joint is the connection between the clavicle and shoulder. An injury to this joint often occurs when falling on the shoulder and can range from a slight strain to a severe tear of the ligaments. This can lead to pain, swelling and restricted movement. Although conservative treatment is often sufficient, surgical stabilization may often be necessary in severe cases. I will be happy to provide detailed information about the appropriate surgical method in a detailed consultation in my medical practice.
