Shoulder arthroplasty

As part of my many years of training, I had the opportunity to learn the demanding technique of shoulder arthroplasty from renowned experts in Munich and Vienna.

In order to fit your perfect prosthesis, your shoulder joint is measured precisely in advance using computer tomography. This data is then used to create a 3D model of your shoulder and the exact prosthetic components. This technique gives you a joint that is individually adapted to your anatomical conditions. Patient-specific instruments (PSI) are made especially for you based on the 3D model in order to achieve the best result for you.

Using an anatomical model for better illustration, I can explain the details of the procedure to you step by step in a personal consultation and answer all your questions.

• Selected materials guarantee a long service life for the artificial shoulder.
• The duration of the operation and therefore the anesthesia required are relatively short.
• Thanks to individually tailored pain therapy during and after surgery, shoulder replacement is largely painless.
• The first shoulder movements can be performed shortly after the surgery in order to achieve optimal shoulder mobility as quickly as possible.
• A team of physiotherapists will be at your disposal from the day of surgery.
